Gospel Reflections for Married Couples
31 January – 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time
In this week’s Gospel, Jesus says to the crowd that “no prophet is ever accepted in his own country.”
On our wedding day, God promised to make his grace available to us to strengthen our marriage.
However, there can be challenges, or sometimes, just the drudgery of day-to-day life when couples struggle to feel his presence in their married and family life.
If this is you, or a couple you know, take some time today to ask for God’s grace and to make his presence felt and known through the Sacrament of Marriage.
