Gospel Reflections for Married Couples
26 June – 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time
This week’s Gospel ends with the words of Jesus, “Once the hand is laid on the plough, no one who looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”
They are tough words. But often in our lives there are things that hold us back from committing ourselves fully to Christ.
On their wedding day, couples make a commitment to journey with their spouse before God.
Is there anything that is holding you back, is Christ calling you to let go of something in order to give yourself more fully to your spouse?
