Gospel Reflections for Married Couples
24 January – 3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
In this week’s Gospel, Jesus proclaims in the synagogue that he has been sent to bring the Good News to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives, give the blind sight and set the downtrodden free.
Sometimes couples can feel all of these things within their marriage; feeling trapped, blind/confused, downtrodden. Christ came to free us from all these things.
Take some time this week to reflect on the meaning of Christ’s words for you and to seek his grace.
