Gospel Reflections for Married Couples
17 January – 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time
In this week’s Gospel, we have the extra ordinary example of Mary’s complete faith in her Son at the Wedding of Cana.
When we marry in the Church, God enters into a covenant with us promising to make his grace available at every moment.
Sometimes, we can lose sight of the fact that God is a part of our marriage too.
Spend some time this week with Mary, Help of Christians.
Ask her to watch over your marriage and to help you to develop, in yourself, her radical faith in God’s grace.
