SmartLoving Engaged Online – Washington

SmartLoving Engaged Online is an online course that will lead you and your fiancé through your marriage preparation process with a sponsor couple. There are 9 lessons in total each taking about 1.5 hours to complete, we recommend that you do one or two lessons a month, meet with your sponsor couple, and take your time to understand the content and practice the life changing tools you will be learning.

This includes:

• Access to the Engaged Online – Marriage Prep Course
• 1 Pair of workbooks for you as the engaged couple
• Your parish will pair you with a local married sponsor couple

What is a sponsor couple?

A Sponsor Couple is a married couple who volunteers to work through the SmartLoving Engaged course at the same time as you and your fiancé. You and your sponsor couple can meet up at the parish or, at each other’s home, (or via Zoom or FaceTime, when necessary) to discuss the questions at the end of each lesson. You can arrange with your sponsor couple how often you would like to meet and be flexible according to both your schedules. A sponsor couple is a wonderful support to an engaged couple as they can share their insights and wisdom with you from their lived experience as a Married couple and support you as you prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage.

Please note: As an engaged couple you only need 1 registration for the both of you. Your sponsor couple will create their own account and access the sponsor version of the course.
