Mercy Gospel Reflection: Oct 23

Gospel Reflections for Married Couples

23 October  – 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that “everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the man who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Is Jesus asking you to be more like the tax collector who prays “God, be merciful to me, a sinner”?

Do you like to be right in your marriage, or have the final say?

This week, pray for a more humble heart in your relationship with your spouse.
