Gospel Reflections for Married Couples

6 November  – 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

In this week’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that we will have a life after this one.

Our marriage in this world is meant to teach us something about our intended relationship with God after death.

Thorough our marriage, God’s grace is teaching us how to love another. Sometimes this can be demanding.

It is a love that looks more like a cross and less like a love heart.

Through our marriage, God’s grace is preparing us for life after death.

Reflect on the ways your own marriage has taught you how to love and be loved.
